PPT-Maker is a Windows-only Excel add-in that converts a storyboard into a real PowerPoint deck using your existing Slide Master layouts. It’s not an “AI slide generator” — it’s a structured workflow that works with AI (or without it).
Everything you need to go from storyboard → deck.
After purchase, you’ll get a license key and download link via Lemon Squeezy. Start here: /start-here/
In real professional work, the hard part is not “making slides look pretty”. The hard part is building the argument, the structure, and the narrative — and then aligning the deck to company templates.
Build a storyboard that makes sense to humans. Then generate a clean deck you can polish. (No over-designed AI “artifacts”.)
PPT-Maker maps storyboard fields into your Slide Master placeholders using AltText tags. Corporate layout rules remain intact.
Change structure in the storyboard (not slide-by-slide). Re-generate and polish — dramatically faster for client work.
A simple workflow designed for deep thinkers: structure first, generate second, polish last.
In Excel, click Create StoryBoard Sheet. Each row becomes one slide (No., Type, Title, Lead, Body, Notes).
Choose the deck you already use (corporate or client template). Run the compatibility check once to avoid surprises.
Click Generate Slides from StoryBoard. PPT-Maker creates slides in the order defined by column A.
PPT-Maker uses AltText tags on placeholders in Slide Master view to map storyboard fields to the correct locations. Once set up, the same template can be reused across projects.

PPT-Maker is built on Microsoft Office desktop automation (VSTO + Office Interop). That makes it powerful — and also implies hard constraints.

The questions you’ll get from serious professional users.
No. It’s a structured workflow tool. You can use AI to draft storyboard content, but PPT-Maker’s job is to execute your structure into slides predictably — using your template.
No slide content is uploaded by PPT-Maker. License activation/validation talks to Lemon Squeezy’s license API. Everything else runs locally in your Office apps.
PPT-Maker does not rewrite your Slide Master. It places text into placeholders that you tag with AltText. If a template is missing tags/layouts, the compatibility checker tells you what to fix.
License checks are infrequent and include a grace period.
If needed, allow access to api.lemonsqueezy.com and retry activation/validation.
Use the add-in’s “Copy Diagnostic Report” button and post it to GitHub Discussions (or email support). This minimizes back-and-forth and keeps support scalable.
Yes — advanced users can override layout selection by layout name. But the recommended path is the AltText setup so your template stays reusable.
If you make decks for real work, the fastest path is: story → structure → execution.
Payment & license keys are handled by Lemon Squeezy. If the overlay is blocked, the button still opens checkout in a new page.
